THE FARM
Within Montesino Ranch, The Farm dwells in a beautiful valley along the banks of the Blanco River near Wimberley. Here at Montesino we nurture a harmony between the natural land and the cultivated land.

The Farm currently sells certified organic produce at farmer’s markets, as well as to wholesale accounts in and around Austin. For the benefit of all who enjoy the produce from The Farm @ Montesino Ranch, each season, our farm manager Melody McClary and her team, select a variety of fruits, vegetables and flowers that grow well in our area.

Farming is a serendipitous mixture of science and faith. While we are able to make crop choices based on what we know to grow well here in the Texas Hill Country, the elements and forces of Nature are beyond our control and do affect the timing and bounty of our harvests.

We look forward to serving you and to sharing the amazing bounty of the land with you.

CSA
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a term used to describe a mutually beneficial program between you and your local farmer.

The Farm @Montesino Ranch has been working on the development and growth of our CSA for several years now. Along the way we began supplying produce to two services centered in Austin that also do weekly farm baskets...Greenling and Farmhouse Delivery. Both of these businesses do an outstanding job, are centrally located and offer a broader range of products than we are able to offer in our CSA...and both love the produce that we grow here at Montesino. We have decided to align ourselves with these two services and discontinue our own CSA. We feel that we can better focus on what we do best, which is to grow vegetables, flowers, herbs and fruits...and support them in what they do best, which is to distribute local products to a wide range of locations in Austin. We have greatly enjoyed the experience of working directly with all of our members and hope that you will "move over" to Farmhouse (www.farmhousedelivery.com) or Greenling (www.Greenling.com). They will be carrying all the great produce that you have been receiving in your baskets.

We will continue to serve the community by also selling at the Sunset Valley Farmer's Market and the Wimberley Farmer's Market, as well as several wholesale accounts.

Thank you for you support and interest in The Farm@Montesino Ranch.
